Enviro Consultants Ltd. (ECL) was incorporated as a Private Limited Consulting Firm in August, 2005 and started propagation being backed by highly qualified professional specialists and experts on multidisciplinary areas such as Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Environmental Management, Environmental Planning and Design, Ecology, Biodiversity conservation, infrastructural development and Industrial pollution control, design of ETP/STP and implementation, Climate Change and resilience, GHG emission, Environmental and Energy Audit, and sustainability-related services. With its established Office at: 8, Garden Rose (1st Floor), Monipuripara, Tejgaon, Dhaka 1215. ECL is an independent and multidisciplinary consulting firm which, has the technical skill, expertise, experience and is capable of handling IEE, EIA, ESIA, EMP and RP. Water and wastewater treatment plant, waste management, treated wastewater recycling and reuse, arsenic contamination, and any consulting services on time, within budget and to the standard of quality demanded.

ECL is registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh, as a private limited company. ECL has successfully accomplished all its assignments in the last 20 years history of the firms and many involved asset developments which are not easy to implement. ECL’s professionals are qualified by education, training, and experience to undertake and development and rehabilitation programmes in the different sectors of the government.

ECL experiences in various and diversified fields of development activities including environment, industries, municipal services, agriculture, education, engineering, water resources, fisheries forestry and livestock, energy and power, health and family welfare, small and micro enterprise development, rural and urban development, forestry and environment, and other natural resources development sectors in country and abroad.

ECL conducted more than fifty Initial Environment Examination (IEE), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Action Plan (ESMAP), Environmental and Social Duie Diligence (ESDD), Ensure compliance and Clearance for SCC and ECC from DoE, Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Risk Assessment and Management, Climate Change and Resilience, Methane Reduction, Net zero carbon, 3R, Circular economy, Environment and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP), Labour Management Plan (LMP), Gender Action Plan (GAP), SH-SEA, Land Acquisition Plan (LAP), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), Implementation of RAP, etc., in different Infrastructure (Roads, Bridges, Culvert), Industries, University, High Rise Building, Power Sector, Textile (Dyeing, Printing and Weaving), Pharmaceutical, Sugar, Oil, Gas & Energy, Fertilizer, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Iron & Steel, Ceramic, Food Industry, Tannery & Leather, Chemical Industries, etc.

ECL has successfully introduced conventional and smart technology-based Wastewater Treatment plant in Bangladesh mainly biological treatment. This technology is very much cost effective compared against high BOD5 and COD load to other plants in terms of chemical consumption, chemical and biological efficiency.

Project Overall:

ECL has been growing from strength to strength by gaining new momentums every succeeding year. Within a short span of last fifteen years, ECL has completed more than 150 projects and studies. ECL has gathered substantial experiences in implementation of projects in the last 20 years, and has established a significant reputation for winning contracts financed, among others, by the WB, ADB, JICA, EU, GIZ, USAID, DFID, SDC and SIDA, etc. It has also worked with many public and private-sector clients in Bangladesh.
